Healthcare SaaS: billing, scheduling and documents across React 19 and a hexagonal Fastify API.
What I built
- Billing: invoices, receipts, credit notes, partial payments, refunds, cash sessions with reconciliation, and configurable numbering.
- Scheduling: availability templates with exceptions, one appointments API with recurring series, and a drag-and-touch calendar with optimistic updates.
- Documents: PDFs rebuilt on react-pdf, bilingual invoices and quotes through an OpenAI translation endpoint, and accounting exports to Excel.
- Domain events: handlers on a transactional outbox, such as recalculating what a patient owes after any related change.
- PostgreSQL performance on search, list and calendar queries, and virus scanning of uploaded files.
